Description
The Trumeter 2600-332CA is a heavy duty, multi-purpose measuring machine for cable, wire, rope, hose, extrusions or any continuous strip from 6mm to 76mm diameter – the big brother of the 2630, sized for material a bench machine cannot take.
A pivot arm carries the 500mm circumference precision ground measuring wheel and rests on the material as it runs. The wheel shaft turns in a double ball race mounted in that arm, so the wheel tracks the surface accurately without loading it. Length reads off a Trumeter 3602 totalising counter mounted at the side of the unit, cleared with a manual lever reset.
This version is fitted with the knurled aluminium measuring wheel and is built for material travelling towards the operator. The pivot arm is also available on its own as the Trumeter 2620. Typical applications include cable laying, cable TV installation, wire batching and retail dispensing.
