Description
The Trumeter 5041-511 is a heavy duty land measuring wheel built for rough and undulating ground. A large diameter spoked wheel with a solid rubber tyre rides over ruts and stubble, and the heavy duty counting head is fitted directly to the wheel so the reading is taken where the ground contact happens.
Typical applications include farmland and paddock measurement, fencing and irrigation set-out, forestry and land management, earthworks, and any survey across ground too rough for a road wheel.
The wheel is designed to flex: lateral movement in the rim of up to ±17mm is normal on rough ground and does not affect the reading. A scraper stops mud building up on the wheel, and the six figure counter reads to 99,999.9 metres with 7mm high figures.
