Description
The Ionnic MS-HB01 is a hand brake alarm module: it watches the hand brake and the door switches, and sounds an alarm the moment an operator opens a door to get out without the brake applied. It is a small guard against one of the more expensive mistakes on a work site – a vehicle left to roll away.
Installation is deliberately simple. A self-learning function detects the vehicle’s own hand brake and door trigger signals during setup, so there is no vehicle-specific harness to source and nothing to program, and the module works on both positively and negatively switched vehicles. That makes it adaptable to essentially any vehicle in a mixed fleet.
It runs on anything from 12 to 24 volts and provides two staged outputs rated 4A each at 12V, so it can drive a warning device and a second stage – or be used as a general two stage alarm module in another application entirely. The body is epoxy filled for protection against moisture and vibration, and the module satisfies mine site requirements.
