Description
The Trumeter 3001-019428 is a five digit mechanical counter used to measure length on wallpaper, fabric and other roll goods machinery. It reads directly in metres to 999.99m, so operators read finished length off the counter rather than converting from a revolution count.
Drive is taken from a 6.35mm [0.25in] shaft and the counter can be driven from either side, or from both, which makes it straightforward to fit to an existing machine without redesigning the drive. Standard gearing is 1:20 and the mechanism handles up to 3,000 counts per minute.
The readout is top viewing with 6.4mm digits, and a reset lever on the left returns the counter to zero between rolls. Being fully mechanical, it needs no power and holds its reading through any shutdown.
