Description
Tyree CB004A5-100 is a 4mm five-core trailer cable supplied on a 100 m roll. Each of its 5 cores uses 23/0.32mm oxygen-free plain copper (about 1.85mm²) to AS/NZS 1125, and the cable is rated at 15A, for extra-low-voltage automotive circuits.
Typical applications include trailer lighting for tail, stop, left and right indicators and earth on box trailers, boat trailers and light towed equipment. The 100 m roll suits workshops, auto electricians and fleet fit-outs.
The cores are insulated in V90 PVC (0.4mm wall) and twisted together under a tough 5V90 PVC sheath (0.6mm wall) to AS/NZS 3808 for added mechanical protection. Conductor resistance is 10.3 Ω/km, and the nominal overall size is 8.2mm. It is designed for extra-low-voltage use and is not for mains connection.
