Description
Tyree CB004A7-030 is a 4mm seven-core trailer cable supplied on a 30 m roll. Each of its 7 cores uses 23/0.32mm oxygen-free plain copper (about 1.85mm²) to AS/NZS 1125, and the cable is rated at 15A, for extra-low-voltage automotive circuits.
Typical applications include trailer and caravan lighting harnesses (tail, stop, left and right indicators, reverse, auxiliary power and earth), horse floats, boat trailers and other towed equipment. The 30 m roll suits a single build or a few repair jobs.
The cores are insulated in V90 PVC (0.4mm wall) and twisted together under a tough 5V90 PVC sheath (0.6mm wall) to AS/NZS 3808 for added mechanical protection. Conductor resistance is 10.3 Ω/km, and the nominal overall size is 8.9mm. It is designed for extra-low-voltage use and is not for mains connection.
