Description
Tyree ABC128703-BK is a 4 B&S (20mm²) black battery and starter cable, made in Australia by Tyree Cable (formerly Tycab). Its 252 strands of 0.32mm oxygen-free plain annealed copper sit under V90 PVC insulation, and it is rated at 135A at 30°C, making it a dependable choice for low-voltage DC circuits up to 60V.
Typical applications include battery and earth leads, starter circuits, dual-battery systems and inverter feeds in cars, 4WDs, boats and light trucks. It is supplied cut to length from 500mm to 30m. Pair it with the matching red 4 B&S cable for the opposite side of the circuit.
The fine 252-strand construction keeps the cable flexible for routing through engine bays, chassis rails and battery boxes. The 1.1mm V90 PVC wall to AS/NZS 3808 is rated to 90°C and uses RoHS-compliant PVC. Conductor tolerances and copper type follow AS/NZS 1125 and AS/NZS 1574, and the cable meets SAE J1127. This is a DC cable and is not for mains connection.
