Choose the correct solid contact
0462-005-2031 is a Size 20 solid socket contact for 16–18 AWG copper conductors. Match the contact size, conductor size, mating contact and housing seal range before assembly. Pin and socket contacts perform different mating roles and are not interchangeable.
Use suitable indent-crimp tooling and follow the TE solid-contact assembly instructions. This machined contact is not a stamped F-crimp terminal. The stated current rating is a typical contact rating, not a guarantee for every wire size or connector installation; apply the wire-size and temperature limits in the TE specification.
Only the selected contact pack is supplied. Connector housings, wedgelocks, seals, wire and tools are not included.
