Selection & Installation
Match the wire conductor size to the supplied contact and the insulation diameter to the housing seal. Select tooling for the actual contact type; F-crimp and solid contacts require different crimp tooling. Fully insert the contacts, fit the wedgelocks and confirm correct mating before service. Seal any unused cavities with suitable sealing plugs. Environmental protection depends on correct assembly, compatible wire and complete mating. These purple-band contacts are not a thin-wall housing modification.
