Description
The DEUTSCH DET16 is a ratcheting crimp tool for compatible size 16 solid pin and socket contacts used in DT Series connectors. It forms an indent crimp around the contact wire barrel.
Contact size 16 is not the same as 16 AWG wire. Confirm the contact part number, conductor size and tool suitability before use, then inspect the completed crimp. Do not use a solid-contact crimper for open-barrel stamped contacts unless the tooling instructions specifically permit it.
