Description
This is the Trumeter 3602-001TC six digit mechanical totalising counter supplied complete with the 007574 rubber covered measuring wheel – a ready-to-fit length measuring head rather than a bare counter.
The counter is geared 1:1 and registers one count for every revolution of the wheel, so with the 500mm wheel fitted each count is half a metre of material passing under it. It is set up top coming, with the top of the shaft rotating towards the operator.
It is built for continuous duty at speed: the main shaft runs in double bronze bearings that are oil impregnated for life, and the counter will take 3000 RPM all day. Typical applications include cable, wire, hose and textile length measurement, packaging and converting lines, winding and spooling equipment, and machine cycle counting. The counter is supplied with a double drive and wing bush, and the reset lever can be mounted on either side to suit the machine.
