Description
LV Automotive cable glands give a sealed, secure entry point for cables passing into enclosures, junction boxes, control boxes and equipment housings. This M16 size threads into a 16 mm mounting hole and clamps round cables from 5 to 10 mm in diameter, sealing them to IP68 against dust and water.
Each gland is moulded from UL approved Nylon 66 (94V-2) and comes as a complete set: body and claw, sealing insert, dome nut, flat lock nut and washer. Pass the cable through, tighten the dome nut and the claw grips and seals the cable, providing strain relief that stops the cable being pulled or twisted at the entry point.
Supplied as a pack of 10 in black, they suit automotive, marine, solar, trailer and industrial electrical installations wherever a cable enters a box or panel.
