Standard (ATO) blade fuses from 1A to 40A, singly or in 10 packs, plus panel-mount and inline standard blade fuse holders.
Choosing a standard blade fuse
Pick the rating to protect the cable
A fuse is there to protect the wiring. Choose a rating above the circuit's normal running current but no higher than the cable can safely carry. If a fuse keeps blowing, find the fault rather than fitting a bigger fuse.
Which fuse type?
Micro and mini blades suit late-model fuse boxes, standard blades (ATO) suit older vehicles and most add-on fuse holders, and MAXI blades handle higher currents up to 100A. For heavier feeds, MIDI / AMI (30–200A) and AMG (40–500A) fuses bolt down with ring terminals.
Standard blade colour code
Standard (ATO) blade fuses are colour-coded by rating: 1A black, 2A grey, 3A violet, 5A tan, 7.5A brown, 10A red, 15A blue, 20A yellow, 25A clear, 30A green, 35A blue-green and 40A orange.
Adding a circuit?
Use a panel-mount holder for a tidy fixed install on a dash or panel, or an inline holder to add a fused feed along an existing cable. Holders listed "with fuse" come with a fuse of your chosen rating.
Common questions
Are ATO and ATC fuses the same size?
Yes. ATO and ATC are both standard blade fuses and fit the same sockets.
