Maxi Fuses

MAXI blade fuses for high-current automotive and industrial circuits such as main power feeds, winches and battery cables – in single, 5 and 10 packs – plus bolt-on and inline MAXI fuse holders.
Choosing a MAXI fuse
Pick the rating to protect the cable
A fuse is there to protect the wiring. Choose a rating above the circuit's normal running current but no higher than the cable can safely carry. If a fuse keeps blowing, find the fault rather than fitting a bigger fuse.
MAXI colour code
MAXI fuses are colour-coded by rating: 20A yellow, 30A green, 40A orange, 50A red, 60A blue, 70A beige, 80A clear/white and 100A violet. The rating is also moulded into the top of each fuse.
Bolt-on or inline holder?
Bolt-on holders mount to a panel or chassis and take ring terminals on M5 studs – a tidy fixed install. Inline holders come pre-wired and weatherproof for adding a fused feed along an existing cable run.
Singles or packs?
Buy single fuses to replace one that has blown, or 5 and 10 packs to keep the workshop, service vehicles and fleet spares kits stocked.
Common questions
Can I use a MAXI fuse in a standard or mini blade holder?
No. MAXI is the large blade-fuse size for high-current circuits. Standard (ATO/ATC), mini and micro blade fuses are smaller and need their own holders.
Are these suitable for 24V vehicles?
Yes. The MAXI blade fuses here are rated to 32V, which covers 12V and 24V vehicle systems.
What's the difference between MAXI and MIDI fuses?
MAXI fuses plug into a blade holder. MIDI (AMI) fuses bolt in with ring terminals and are used for higher-current feeds such as alternator and battery circuits.
