Description
The Ionnic BMS-05 (single pole) and BMS-12 (double pole) are heavy-duty battery master switches with a removable L handle. Pull the handle in the OFF position and the vehicle cannot be re-energised, which deters theft and tampering on parked trucks, plant and boats. Both are rated 250A continuous and 2500A intermittent across 6 to 36 volt systems.
The handle is kept on a chain with a rubber boot that seals the key socket when the handle is removed. The Bakelite body is sealed to IP66, the BMS-05 uses copper contacts and the BMS-12 silver-plated copper, and both connect with M10 studs. Each is supplied with Starter and Battery decals.
For lockout, the BMS-05 takes the BMS-2R/2Y bracket and the BMS-12 the BMS-1R/1Y, while the BMS-4R/4Y and stainless LS11003 brackets suit both. Mounting brackets BMS-05BKT and BMS-12BKT, a spare BMS-05K handle and the BMS-ES extension stud are also available.
