Description
The ECCO 7960R is a red LED beacon from ECCO’s 7960 Pulse® Series. Sixteen high-intensity 3-watt LEDs give SAE J845 Class I light output, making the 7960 one of the brightest LED beacons in the ECCO range and an easy upgrade from old rotating or strobe beacons with no ongoing maintenance.
Eleven flash patterns, including double and quad flash, plus hi/lo intensity control are selected without tools using a microswitch on the circuit board under the thread-on polycarbonate lens. The 7960R runs on 12–24 VDC with a low 2.5 A draw and is protected against reverse polarity, voltage spikes and surges.
The die-cast aluminium base is coated against corrosion and designed for vibration resistance and heat dissipation, and on permanent-mount models it is epoxy filled to protect the electronics from dust, moisture and vibration. It mounts with a 3-bolt flange or on a 1″ pipe, and ECCO backs it with a 5-year warranty.
