Description
Star Brite 84104 Liquid Electrical Tape is insulation you brush on instead of wrap. It goes on as a liquid, flows into the shape of whatever it is covering, and dries to a flexible, waterproof rubber coating that seals the joint completely.
That makes it the answer where tape will not sit properly: irregular shapes, tight corners, terminal blocks, battery terminals, connector backshells, and anywhere a wrap would leave a spiral gap for water to track into. It is a favourite in marine and outdoor work for exactly that reason – the seal has no seam.
Supplied as a 118ml can in black. Note that it is a flammable liquid and is classified as a dangerous good, so freight is handled accordingly – get in touch if you need it sent somewhere specific.
