Description
tesa® 51036 is a flag-resistant PET cloth wire harness tape with a solvent-free advanced acrylic adhesive, 19mm wide by 25 metres per roll, supplied here as 4 rolls.
It is built for the hard end of loom work. The cloth backing gives high abrasion protection where a harness runs against a bracket or through a bulkhead, and the tape holds to 150°C for 3000 hours – so it survives under-bonnet and near-exhaust routing that would soften an ordinary tape. The acrylic adhesive is compatible with halogen-free PE and PP cable jacketing, and it is flag-resistant, meaning the tail stays down instead of lifting and unwinding.
Typical applications are automotive wiring harnesses, engine bay looms, machinery and plant wiring, and any bundle that needs abrasion protection as much as insulation. Made in Germany.
