Description
Tyree ABC1612032-B is a 0 B&S (49mm²) black battery and starter cable, made in Australia by Tyree Cable (formerly Tycab). Its 608 strands of 0.32mm oxygen-free plain annealed copper sit under V90 PVC insulation, and it is rated at 246A at 30°C. That makes it a heavy-duty choice for low-voltage DC circuits up to 60V.
Typical applications include battery feed and earth leads, starter motor circuits, electric winches, and inverter and off-grid battery bank wiring. It also suits heavy-duty automotive, truck, 4WD and marine installations. It is supplied cut to length from 500mm to 30 metres. Pair it with the matching red 0 B&S cable for positive runs.
The fine 608-strand construction keeps the cable flexible for routing through engine bays and battery boxes. The 1.7mm V90 PVC wall to AS/NZS 3808 is rated to 90°C and uses RoHS-compliant PVC.
