Description
Tyree ABC136403-B is a 3 B&S (25mm²) black battery and starter cable, made in Australia by Tyree Cable (formerly Tycab). Its 329 strands of 0.32mm oxygen-free plain annealed copper sit under V90 PVC insulation, and it is rated at 168A at 30°C, making it a dependable choice for low-voltage DC circuits up to 60V.
Typical applications include battery feed and earth leads, starter motor circuits, winches, and inverter and dual-battery wiring in trucks, 4WDs, boats and machinery. It is supplied cut to length from 500mm to 30m. Pair it with the matching red 3 B&S cable for the opposite side of the circuit.
The fine 329-strand construction keeps the cable flexible for routing through engine bays, chassis rails and battery boxes. The 1.6mm V90 PVC wall to AS/NZS 3808 is rated to 90°C and uses RoHS-compliant PVC. Conductor tolerances and copper type follow AS/NZS 1125 and AS/NZS 1574. This is a DC cable and is not for mains connection.
