Description
Tyree ABC119203-BK is a 6 B&S (13.5mm²) black battery and starter cable, made in Australia by Tyree Cable (formerly Tycab). Its 168 strands of 0.32mm oxygen-free plain annealed copper sit under V90 PVC insulation, and it is rated at 103A at 30°C, making it a dependable choice for low-voltage DC circuits up to 60V.
Typical applications include dual-battery systems, DC-DC charger and auxiliary power runs, inverter feeds, caravan and trailer charging circuits, and earth straps. It is supplied cut to length from 500mm to 30m. Pair it with the matching red 6 B&S cable for the opposite side of the circuit.
The fine 168-strand construction keeps the cable flexible for routing through engine bays, chassis rails and battery boxes. The 1.1mm V90 PVC wall to AS/NZS 3808 is rated to 90°C and uses RoHS-compliant PVC. Conductor tolerances and copper type follow AS/NZS 1125 and AS/NZS 1574, and the cable meets SAE J1127. This is a DC cable and is not for mains connection.
