Description
The Cole Hersee 75930 is a dual-pole, single-throw (DPST) battery master disconnect switch designed to cut battery power to every electrical system on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. It is used across mining, agriculture, construction and transport, where a machine must be fully isolated for servicing, storage or an emergency shutdown.
At its core is Cole Hersee’s patented weld breaker safety feature. When the switch is turned off, the mechanism applies force to the moving contact to break any weld that may have formed under high current. If a weld cannot be broken, a safety mechanism stops the handle from reaching the OFF position, so the switch can never show OFF while the circuit is still live.
The 75930 combines a 300A main contact with a 10A auxiliary contact in a robust engineered polymer housing rated IP67/IP69K against dust, debris and high-pressure washdown. The removable lever doubles as integrated lockout/tagout, accepting a padlock shackle up to 6.5mm, and is available in red, yellow or black to suit site colour-coding. Each switch is supplied blister packed.
