Description
The ECCO EB8160A is an amber heavy-duty LED beacon from ECCO’s EB8160 Series, designed and engineered in Australia for the toughest conditions. It combines SAE J845 Class 1 warning performance with best-in-class CISPR 25 Class 5 EMC protection, so it delivers powerful visibility while minimising interference with radios, GPS and sensitive onboard electronics.
Twenty-four high-performance amber LEDs with ECCO-designed 3-stage optics, including upward-facing LEDs, give enhanced vertical and horizontal visibility. There are 20 flash patterns, including Pulse and three auto-dimming patterns that use the built-in ambient light sensor, and the beacon runs on 10–32 VDC with reverse polarity and ISO 16750-2 load-dump protection.
The rugged die-cast aluminium base, hard-coated UV-resistant polycarbonate lens and silicone O-ring are sealed to IP67 and IP69K, with a pressure vent and EPDM base gasket. It fits 150 mm, 130 mm and 107 mm PCD mounting patterns and comes with a 1.6 m harness. ECCO backs the EB8160 with a 5-year no-hassle warranty.
