Description
These LV Automotive saddle type cable tie mounts are moulded from black nylon 6/6 and supplied in a pack of 100. The saddle sits over a single screw, giving a strong, permanent anchor point for cable ties holding wiring looms, hoses and cables to chassis rails, frames and panels.
Fix the saddle with a screw through its 6.4 mm hole, then pass a cable tie under the bridge of the saddle, around the bundle and pull it tight. The open saddle design accepts cable ties up to 8.7 mm wide, so it also works with heavier-duty ties than standard square mounts.
Screw-fixed saddles are a good choice where adhesive mounts would not hold, such as on hot, oily, painted or textured surfaces, and on vehicles and machinery that see heavy vibration.
