Description
The Trumeter MAX Meter M23 is a large-format Advanced Panel Meter (APM) configured for process and shunt signal input, built around a bigger 81.5 × 66mm display with a 60-segment bar graph and RGB colour-changing backlight in a 108 × 108 × 45mm DIN 108×108 enclosure — a step up in screen size and visibility from the standard 96×96 APM range.
Input accepts 0–10V DC, 0–400Hz pulse/frequency, or 0–50mA DC process signals, and can equally be configured as a low-voltage shunt meter for current measurement via an external shunt — one meter covering both process-signal and shunt-based monitoring. This variant is fitted with a 100–240V AC universal power supply and Modbus TCP/IP & Modbus RTU communications, with 1% accuracy, 16 preset configurations and 20-point non-linearization for fast field setup via the free APM configuration software.
This variant uses a positive (light-background) LCD, optimised for readability in bright ambient light or direct sunlight. Two independent alarm setpoints and three outputs — two digital open-collector plus one analog 4–20mA retransmission output — are fitted as standard, along with Trumeter Cloud remote monitoring support.
Typical applications include process-loop and 4–20mA signal monitoring, shunt-based DC current measurement on battery banks and DC distribution, and any installation where the larger 81.5 × 66mm display and RGB backlight are needed for visibility from a distance or across a busy control room.
