Description
LV Automotive pre-made battery starter cables take the guesswork out of replacing a main battery lead. This 460 mm cable is made from heavy 2 B&S black cable, with a 10 mm eye lug crimped on one end and a battery terminal clamp on the other, so it is ready to fit straight out of the pack.
The 2 B&S conductor has a 32.15 mm² cross section and a 230 A rating, built from fine 0.32 mm strands for flexibility when routing around the engine bay. The eye lug bolts to the starter motor or solenoid stud, and the clamp fits a standard battery post.
Measure the old cable from the centre of the lug hole to the battery post before ordering, and allow a little slack for engine movement. Pre-made starter cables suit cars, utes, 4WDs, trucks, tractors, boats and machinery. They are also available in other lengths to suit different battery locations.
