Description
LV Automotive pre-made starter switch cables are ready-made links for the high-current side of a starting circuit. This 300 mm cable is made from heavy 2 B&S black cable with an eye lug crimped on both ends, so it can be bolted straight between a battery isolator, solenoid or relay and the starter motor.
The 2 B&S conductor has a 32.15 mm² cross section and a 230 A rating, built from fine 0.32 mm strands for flexibility in tight engine bays. The 10 mm lugs suit common starter, solenoid and isolator studs.
Using a factory-made cable gives a consistent crimp and a clean finish without the need for a hydraulic crimper. Measure between stud centres before ordering and allow some slack for movement. Starter switch cables are available in a range of lengths for cars, trucks, machinery and marine use.
