Description
The Roadvision HLX 7″ (RDL9700CD) is a complete LED driving light kit: a pair of 7″ round driving lights, a plug-and-play wiring harness and an in-cab DRL colour selector switch in one box. The pair produces 14,480 lumens with 1 lux reaching 900 m (1,273 m at 0.5 lux) from a crisp 6000K combination beam.
The standout feature is the dual-colour dynamic DRL: at switch-on it plays an animated start-up sequence, then holds in white or amber, selected with the supplied switch. Each light combines 8 × 18W + 8 × 4W LEDs, and Roadvision’s Thermal Management Technology keeps them cool for a rated 50,000-hour life on 10–30V multi-volt input.
The harness plugs into the lights with 6-pin Deutsch connectors, takes its high beam trigger through a 2-pin Metri-Pack plug (with a piggyback adaptor for H4 and HB3 headlamps) and connects to the battery with 8 mm ring terminals, so the lights dip with high beam as ADR requires. It accepts Roadvision RHBT vehicle-specific patch harnesses (sold separately). Die-cast aluminium housings and polycarbonate lenses are sealed to IP68/IP69K, and each light comes with blackout mounting hardware and a black clip-on cover with DRL windows. 7-year Roadvision warranty.
