Description
LV Automotive split convoluted tubing is a fast, tidy way to protect wiring looms and cable runs from abrasion, heat and dirt. This 13 mm size is made from black polypropylene with a corrugated profile and a full-length split, so you can open it and lay wires in along the run without disconnecting anything.
It has an internal diameter of 12.6 mm and an outside diameter of 15.7 mm, and comes as 75 m on a spool, suited to workshops, auto electricians and loom builders who use tubing in volume. The corrugations let the tubing bend around corners and follow the line of the vehicle while keeping its shape.
The polypropylene is rated for -20°C to +90°C, which suits most cabin, chassis and general engine bay wiring away from exhaust heat. Secure it with cable ties at regular intervals for a neat, factory-style finish.
