Description
The most visible, easy to use, programmable panel meter on the market. The APM M1 Meter is a multi-function meter measuring voltage, current, and frequency — 0 – 10,000A via CT, 0 – 5A Direct, 0 – 600V DC/AC (+/−), 2 – 400Hz — with 1% accuracy for voltage and current and 0.5% for frequency, and is DC-powered from a 12–24V AC/DC supply, the lower-voltage sibling of the mains-powered M2 Meter. It combines the instant readability of an analog meter with the precision of a digital meter: a 40-segment curved bar graph gives an immediate visual indication, while four 12mm digits provide a precise numeric readout.
This variant uses a negative (dark-background) LCD, giving strong contrast in normal indoor and panel-mounted lighting conditions.
The colour-changing backlight can be programmed to alert operators when a monitored value is too high or too low, reducing the risk of equipment failure and improving efficiency. Free APM configuration software allows full customisation of scale and range, with 16 preset configurations selectable via back-panel switches and 20-point non-linearisation scaling for non-linear sensors. It is fitted with two configurable outputs (digital open collector or analog 4–20mA), supporting up to 10 independent alarm setpoints with a configurable digital output delay (0.5–120 seconds). Optional Modbus RTU communication and remote monitoring via Trumeter Cloud and the APM Gateway are also supported, making it easy to fold this meter into a wider monitoring or alarm system.
Typical applications include control panels and switchgear where a low-voltage DC supply is preferred over mains power for voltage, current, or frequency monitoring.
