Trumeter Shunt Signal Conditioner for External Shunt DC Current Measurement
The Trumeter Shunt Signal Conditioner (SC-SHUNT-DIN) is a DIN rail-mount device that reads a 0-1V DC input from an external shunt rated up to 1000mV. It suits battery monitoring, energy storage systems, DC power supplies, data centres, and industrial automation. As a result, it measures low-side DC current while reducing the isolation requirements of a direct high-current connection.

Because the unit is designed for low-side shunt measurement, it keeps the shunt on the negative rail, simplifying wiring compared with a high-side current sensor. Therefore, it’s a common fit for battery bank and DC bus monitoring. For AC current measured through a current transformer, use the CT Signal Conditioner instead.
Configuration and Installation
The unit clips onto standard Top Hat Slotted (TS35) DIN rail and measures 72mm x 72mm x 61mm. It runs from a 12-24V AC/DC supply, and setup is handled through Trumeter’s free configuration software over USB.
The unit carries CE, cUL, UL, RoHS, and IP20 ratings, covering most industrial and OEM panel-building requirements without extra certification paperwork.
