Description
The Trumeter 2620-132CA is the pivot arm assembly from the 2600 Series, supplied on its own. The arm rests on the material as it passes and reads length off a 500mm circumference polyurethane covered measuring wheel.
Because it is just the arm and counter rather than a complete machine, it bolts onto an existing line or frame wherever the material already runs – useful for steel, plastic and board as much as for cable. The wheel shaft turns in a double ball race mounted in the arm, so the wheel follows the surface accurately without pressing into it.
This is the version for material travelling towards the operator. A totalising counter is fitted, cleared by manual lever reset. Typical applications include textile production, ribbon and tape manufacturing, paper and calender work, plastic film and packaging, metal processing, carpet and flooring, non-woven fabrics, rubber and conveyor belt manufacturing, and glass and fibreglass production.
