Description
The ECCO 3435A is a 3400 Series LED Safety Director™, a compact high-intensity traffic advisor that tells drivers approaching from behind which way to pass a stationary vehicle. The slim 1222 mm light stick suits roof racks, headboards, tailgates and rear bodywork, and can be mounted flush or with the supplied brackets inside or outside the vehicle.
Eight reflective amber modules, each with six LEDs, sit behind a polycarbonate lens in an extruded aluminium housing. The bar runs nine built-in patterns – left, left solid, right, right solid, centre out, centre out solid, wig wag, alternating quad flash and alternating single flash – and is approved to SAE J595 Class I with CE marking and ECE R10 electromagnetic compatibility. It runs on 12 VDC and draws just 1.6 A.
The 3435A kit includes the light bar, the 3410CB soft-touch in-cab controller with a live LED display that mirrors the selected pattern, an auxiliary switch with a 20 A auxiliary relay, and a 9.1 m (35 ft) harness to suit trucks and longer service bodies. ECCO backs the 3400 Series with a 5-year warranty.
