Description
The ECCO ED3315A is an ED3300 Series LED Safety Director™, a high-intensity traffic advisor that directs vehicles approaching from behind safely around a stopped truck or ute. The 1242 mm light stick mounts flush or on the supplied brackets, inside or outside the vehicle, so it suits roof racks, headboards, tailgates and rear bodywork.
Eight reflective amber modules, each packed with 20 LEDs, give the ED3300 considerably more output than the 3400 Series. It runs nine built-in patterns – left, left solid, right, right solid, centre out, centre out solid, wig wag, alternating quad flash and alternating single flash – on 12–24 VDC at 1.6 A, is rated SAE Class I with ECE R10 electromagnetic compatibility, and is built from extruded aluminium with a polycarbonate lens. Modules can be replaced individually, with amber, blue, clear and red modules available from ECCO.
The ED3315A kit includes the light bar, the 3410CB soft-touch in-cab controller with a live LED display of the selected pattern, an auxiliary switch with a 20 A auxiliary relay, and a 4.6 m (15 ft) harness to suit utes and smaller vehicles. ECCO backs the ED3300 Series with a 5-year warranty.
