Description
The ECCO ED3802 VIZ is an ultra-thin LED directional warning light from ECCO’s ED3800 Series that adds HINVII illumination to the warning colours. HINVII is a special light colour that makes retro-reflective hi-vis clothing glow, so workers on foot around the vehicle stand out clearly, while the light still works as a normal amber (or amber plus blue, green or white) directional warning light.
The 9 mm-deep housing fits on grilles, bumpers, tailgates, toolboxes, cab panels and headboards where a bulkier light would not. It runs on 12–24 VDC, offers up to 69 flash patterns (amber + HINVII) or 24 patterns (tri-colour versions), and is rated for −40 °C to +65 °C. Amber is SAE J595 Class 1 and California Title 13 Class B; blue and white are also SAE J595 Class 1 on the ABH and AWH versions.
Up to eight units can be linked on the sync wire to flash simultaneously or alternate in Phase 1 and Phase 2, so the VIZ can be combined with other ED3800 Series lights. The aluminium housing is sealed to IP67 and IP69K for high-pressure washdown, and ECCO backs it with a 5-year warranty.
