Description
The Trumeter 5061-511 is a single reading rail track measuring wheel, designed with input from international railway companies and in daily use worldwide. It reads in metres and centimetres, adds going forward and subtracts in reverse, and clears with a lever reset.
Typical applications include track maintenance and renewal, defect and sleeper location, signalling and level crossing set-out, permanent way inspection, and any measurement taken along a running rail.
A polyurethane covered metal wheel gives traction on steel without marking it, and dual metal side plates ride against the rail head to keep the wheel tracking straight. A carry case is included, and a calibration certificate is available on request.
