Description
The Cole Hersee 75910 is a double-pole, single-throw (DPST) battery and field master switch developed by Cole Hersee with ESG Asia Pacific and major mining corporations to meet specific Australian mine-site safety requirements. It disconnects the battery and the alternator or generator field circuit in one action.
Its key difference is an extended 17° actuation point, compared with the standard 4° of switches such as the 75904. This guards against accidental actuation, even when a lockout lever is fitted, so the switch stays off once it has been turned off.
Silver contacts are rated 125A continuous and 1000A intermittent, with 20A continuous field terminals, across 6V to 36V systems. The switch is O-ring sealed, has an indexing pin to prevent rotation, and accepts padlocks up to 6mm for lockout. A steel-plated case, brass mounting stem and studs and a chrome-plated die-cast lever complete the build.
