Description
The ECCO EA5050 is a multi-frequency back-up alarm that warns people in the danger zone behind a reversing vehicle without the shrill, far-carrying beep of a conventional tonal alarm. It emits sound across multiple frequencies attenuated above 4000 Hz, so the warning is more directional and seems to fade faster outside the hazard area – ideal for night work, residential streets, depots and confined sites where noise complaints matter.
The EA5050 delivers a fixed 87 dB(A) output. It runs on 12–24V DC and draws 0.34 A, with SAE J994 Type D, CE, ECE R10, AMECA approvals.
The electronics are sealed in epoxy against dust, moisture and vibration inside a reinforced nylon housing, and the alarm is rated from −40 °C to +85 °C. It mounts with two bolts (1/4″ Grade 5 recommended) and is backed by ECCO’s 5-year warranty.
