Description
The Trumeter APM-IOT-GATEWAY is a communications gateway purpose-built for the Advanced Panel Meter (APM) range, bridging a network of APM-Link enabled panel meters and Modbus Master devices to the cloud so a whole site’s electrical and process instrumentation can be monitored remotely from a single dashboard.
The Gateway connects locally via APM-Link to compatible Trumeter APM meters and via Modbus Master to third-party Modbus RTU devices, then bridges that data upstream over Ethernet or an optional cellular connection — no local PC, PLC or SCADA licence required to get readings off-site.
Once connected, live and historical readings from every attached meter are available through the Trumeter Cloud dashboard from any browser, with configurable alerting and logging so out-of-range readings, power interruptions or communication faults can be flagged the moment they happen rather than discovered on the next site visit.
Typical applications include multi-meter switchboard and distribution-board monitoring, remote or unmanned site instrumentation (pump stations, substations, plant rooms), consolidating several APM panel meters onto one cloud dashboard, and any installation where electrical or process data needs to reach an off-site team without adding a full SCADA system.
